How Product Experts' points at Google Forums are calculated

 In below post I present my empiric knowledge, how to gain more points at Google Help Forums and how to gain some perks, like badges.    

Many years ago Google launched Help Forums. The idea was to create a place (community), where users can post their problems and other users with higher knowledge about Google products help those users who posted problems. During years, the forums growth and changed, now it's really powerful and azure platform.

Every user who helps others gains points. If the points hold some levels, your level will be higher and you have more possibilities as a user on that forum.

I run some tests and based on this, your monthly active points are calculated as following:

Active Points = A * 1 + R * 10  + TH_U * 1 - TH_D * 1  + AP * 1  + RA * 0

where:

A - number of all responses you posted during last month

R - recommended answers, author of the thread or both experts and managers can use this button to mark the best answers

TH_U - number of thumbs up under your answers

TH_D - number of thumbs down under your answers

AP - number of responses at private forums

RA - relevant answers, market algoritmically
